Festive Bead Ornament

The first ornaments were used to adorn trees in 16th century Germany.  They were most likely apples.  Glass bobbles were introduced in the 1800s.   We've come a long way since those days. Most ornaments are plastic, but there is something special about handmade ornaments!

-hang on a door to welcome guests
-can be used for the holidays or all winter long
-hang on the Christmas tree or in your windows
-use as a gift topper
-makes the perfect gift for the new couple or house

This wreath was crocheted with 96% mercerized cotton and 4% metallic.
It was stiffened using cornstarch to keep its shape.

It is embellished with the prettiest beads.

-the Festive Bead Ornament is flat and 5" across.  It hangs about 7".
