🧶I'm often asked where my ideas come from.
It's a great question. I love to crochet in thread, so I obviously look at what others are making. Sometimes there isn't a pattern for what I'm looking for.
✡️I love holidays and themes. So I'll see if I can crochet to match the theme. A great example, is the Magen Star I created for Hanukkah.
☕Sometimes I'll take someone's idea and change it for a different purpose. Gram's favorite teacup made by Mary Buse Mellick was redesigned to make the Tiny Teacup pattern.
❤🍀When I ask about colors & styles, I definitely listen to all my followers. Nancy wanted a heart pattern. done: the Nancy Heart. Danielle suggested a new Shamrock. done: Danielle Lacy Shamrock.
👑I am still asked if I crocheted my own tiaras on Tuesday. That gave me the idea to design my own crowns for people. We all know where that led! (see picture)
I'm always looking for new ideas and challenges. I want use my creativity to keep this old timey crochet style current. 💕
