Snowflake Garland: A True Story

Snowflake Garland: A True Story

🧶Snowflake Garland: A True Story.🧶

I started crocheting snowflakes using Gram's snowflake pattern book about a year after my doily obsession started. 1995!
There are so many patterns, I always try to collect them all.

I came across a tiny doily book, with 35 different snowflakes & decided to try them. Yes, they were awesome, so I resolved to crochet 10 of each. ❄️❄️❄️ That's quite the blizzard.

The snowflakes were too small to sell individually so I fooled around with ideas. 💡
-earrings? nah, not in the jewelry business
-attach them in some way? I'm sure that will come later (it did)
-garland? maybe.

How about 10 different snowflakes per garland?

So I sorted so each bundle of 10 was all different snowflakes & tried the garland. A total win! 🎉 They are awesome! 🤸♀️

I've repeated crocheting 10 of each at a time a couple times. Last year I spent my trips to Mexico to crochet 20 of each! In case you're wondering, I DID run out of crochet thread on both trips.
I finished them, though, and still have a few here.😉

🥰Meanwhile, the snowflake garland remains one of my best winter sellers because it can hang in the home or office all winter long.

Bonus: They're guaranteed not to melt!

The End.

💁♀️If you read this far, where would you hang your 60" garland of crocheted snowflakes?
